# Accept Google Search lead ads terms of service

## To run lead form extensions on Google Search ads — where users can submit their contact information directly from your ad — your Google Ads account must accept Google's Lead Form Terms of Service. This is a one-time step.

#### What this error looks like

You have not accepted the lead form extension terms of service for this account.

Lead form assets are unavailable. Please accept the terms of service in Google Ads to continue.

 

### How to accept the terms

1. Go to [ads.google.com](https://ads.google.com) and sign in with the Google account linked to your ad account.
2. In the left sidebar, click **Assets** (formerly Extensions).
3. Click the **+** button and select **Lead form**.
4. Google will display a Terms of Service prompt at the bottom of the lead form setup screen. Click **I agree** to accept.
5. You do not need to complete or save the lead form — accepting the terms is all that's required. You can close the setup after accepting.

Once accepted, lead form assets will be available to add to your Google Search campaigns. Return to your campaign and continue where you left off.

If you don't see the Terms of Service prompt when adding a lead form asset, the terms may already have been accepted for your account. Try creating or editing a lead form campaign directly to confirm.
