Connect Google Ads

Connect your Google Ads account to start managing Google campaigns, import your existing ads, and unlock AI-powered optimization across Search, Display, and more.

Who this is for

Anyone who wants to run or manage Google Ads campaigns. You'll need an existing Google Ads account. If you don't have one yet, create one at ads.google.com before continuing.

Before you begin

  • You need a Google Ads account (10-digit account ID)
  • Your Google account must have Standard or Admin access to the Google Ads account
  • If you manage multiple clients through a Google Ads Manager account (MCC), see: Google Ads Manager Accounts (MCC)

Steps

  1. First to the left on the top navigation, open the Brands tab and select the workspace you want to connect.
  2. Look for Google within Connected Accounts, then tap Connect.
  3. Click Connect Google Ads. A Google sign-in window will appear.
  4. Sign in with the Google account that has access to the ad account you want to connect.
  5. Review the permissions Google requests and click Allow.
  6. Once authorized, a list of available Google Ads accounts will appear. Select the account you want to connect.
  7. Click Connect. The connection will take a few seconds to verify.

Expected result

Your Google Ads account is now connected to the workspace. You'll see a green connected indicator next to Google in your ad accounts list.

Any existing Google campaigns will show up on reporting automatically, and you can import campaigns to manage them. Once imported, they'll appear in your Campaigns tab with their original settings, budgets, and targeting intact.

Common issues

  • "No accounts found" after sign-in: The Google account you used doesn't have access to any Google Ads accounts. Sign in with the account that is listed as a user in Google Ads, or ask the account owner to grant you Standard access or above at ads.google.com → Admin → Access and security.
  • You manage clients through a Manager account (MCC): Connect using the individual account ID, not the Manager account ID. See: Google Ads Manager Accounts (MCC).
  • Existing campaigns don't appear after connecting: Wait a few minutes and refresh. If they still don't appear, check that the campaigns aren't paused or archived in your native Google Ads account.
  • You need conversion tracking: After connecting, set up a Google conversion tag to track results. See: Set up Google conversion tracking.
