# Connect TikTok

## Connect your TikTok ad account to start running TikTok campaigns, import existing ads, and manage everything from one place.

### Who this is for

All users who want to create or manage TikTok campaigns. You'll need an existing TikTok Ads account or access to a TikTok Business Center. If you don't have one yet, create one at [business.tiktok.com](https://business.tiktok.com/) before continuing.

### Before you begin

- You need a TikTok Ads account or access to a TikTok Business Center
- Your role in the Business Center must be **Operator** or **Admin** to connect ad accounts
- For client accounts: you must be a member of the Business Center that owns the client's ad account

### Steps

1. First to the left on the top navigation, open the **Brands** tab and select the workspace you want to connect.
2. Look for **TikTok** within **Connected Accounts**, then tap **Connect**.
3. Click **Connect TikTok**. A TikTok sign-in window will appear.
4. Log in with the TikTok account associated with your Business Center or ad account.
5. Review the permissions TikTok requests and click **Confirm**.
6. Once authorized, a list of available TikTok ad accounts will appear. Select the account you want to connect.
7. Click **Connect**. The connection will verify within a few seconds.

### Expected result

Your TikTok ad account is now connected. You'll see a green connected indicator next to TikTok in your ad accounts list.

Any existing TikTok campaigns will show up on reporting automatically, importing TikTok campaigns is not yet supported .

 

### Common issues

- **"No ad accounts found" after sign-in:** The TikTok account you used isn't a member of any Business Center, or doesn't have ad account access. Ask the Business Center admin to add you as an Operator or higher, or confirm your account has direct ad account access.
- **You have a personal TikTok Ads account (not a Business Center):** Personal ad accounts can be connected directly — follow the same steps and select your account when prompted.
- **Client's ad account isn't visible:** The client's account must be added to a Business Center you have access to. In TikTok Business Center, go to **Assets → Ad accounts** and confirm the account is linked.
- **Existing campaigns don't appear:** Wait a few minutes and refresh. If they still don't appear after 5 minutes, check the campaign status in your native TikTok Ads Manager.
